Felipe was born in a small city in southern Brazil and has always had a strong connection to images and compositions, driven by his natural curiosity and interest in visual arts.
Self-taught, he found drawing to be his main form of expression from an early age. Becoming an artist was not a sudden decision but rather a natural progression of something that had always been part of his life.
In 2021, he began studying tattooing. Today, he lives in Lisbon, Portugal, where he works at his studio, Secreto, while also contributing as a guest artist in cities such as Berlin and London.
His work is influenced by 16th and 17th-century art, exploring themes like the relationship between heaven and earth, religious figures, symbols, and mythological narratives.
Felipe is also drawn to the techniques used for artistic reproduction before the modern printing era. Artists like Albrecht Dürer, Hendrick Goltzius, Alfred Rethel, and Gustave Doré, renowned for their detailed engravings, are important references for his tattoo work.
